Brasbunker Participações S/A, through its subsidiary companies, has made a commitment to defend Quality, Safety, Environmental, Health and Social Responsibility issues in all company activities including marine transport, vessel management, land based operational actions, standby assistance services and environmental emergency response procedures. This is part of the Brasbunker pledge to:
- Seek out continuous improvement and efficiency through the Social Responsibility, Health, Environmental, Safety and Quality Management System;
- Satisfy all client requests and requirements through a client satisfaction monitoring program;
- Comply with all applicable legislation governing Health, Environment and Safety at the company to minimize risks to employees, service providers, patrimony, the environment and the community;
- Assure the training and formation of an increased awareness among the workforce, suppliers and service providers that is essential to the formation of a better Social Responsibility, Health, Environmental, Safety and Quality culture;
- Identify any and all aspects and impacts of dangers and risks in the workplace and continuously act in a preventive manner to maintain control of situations that may cause harm to employees or the environment;
- Guarantee unrestricted authority and the necessary resources to the professionals responsible for the decision making areas involving Job Safety, Environmental Protection and Occupational Health issues.
- Fulfill and enforce the Brasbunker Code of Ethics in all matters related to social and professional behavior governing all company personnel.
