LM Serviços Técnicos Especializados Ltda (LM Specialized Technical Services) started to operate on March 11, 1998, to offer cargo handling, loading and unloading services for ships and terminals dedicated to handling petroleum derivatives, chemicals, petrochemicals, alcohol and natural gas in Brazilian ports.
The company head office is located in Paranaguá, in Paraná and is responsible for managing operations at other Brazilian ports along the coast. Installations and activities include chemical analyses laboratories, administrative and operational training courses and programs, naval projects and inspections, port terminal management besides its main focus on maritime transport.
