The Brasbunker Participações S.A., Holding of the Brasbunker Group, is a controller of companies specialized in maritime transport services and environmental protection.
Navigation companies include Navegação São Miguel, Skymar, Emport, Petrosantos and LM, provide Port Authority support services including bunkering (delivery and supply of fuel oil to oceangoing vessels); Chemical Products Transportation; Marine Support Services, operating a fleet of its own vessels and third-party PSV (Platform Supply Vessels) AHTS (Anchor Handler Tug and Supply) and LH (Line Handlers); Coastal Navigation Services, through chartered tanker vessels. More than 2.5 million tons of fuel oil is transported and delivered annually by one of the largest service fleets in the country.
Environmental protection services for all Group company activities are provided by Hidroclean, a nationally renowned consultancy that provides counseling, training, standby emergency services, monitoring systems and environmental emergency response teams and equipment. HDG, a Hidroclean subsidiary, provides exclusive services to Petrobras managing the Environmental Defense Centers located along the Brazilian Northeastern coastline.
The Group is certified to provide fast and efficient maritime services along the Brazilian coastline and adjacent offshore oceanic regions. Five companies and more than 50 oceangoing vessels are presently working under contract to important clients such as Petrobras, Shell, El Paso, British Gas and Maersk Oil. The Group is present in 15 Brazilian states including: Alagoas, Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Paraíba, Paraná, Pará, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Rondônia, São Paulo and Sergipe.
