SOCIOENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
The Brasbunker Group believes that delivering products and services that exceed legal obligations and by building ethical, transparent relations with all target publics (partners, suppliers, clients, employees, government and society), the company will contribute to improving the quality of life by constructing a conscious and responsible society.
In this sense, the Group stands firmly behind its social and environmental commitments and puts its corporate responsibility policy into play through concrete actions: from environmental preservation projects in every business activity to internal and external social responsibility programs that encourage volunteer participation by all employees.
GROUP SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL HIGHLIGHTS:
The “Talking About the Environment” Project
The company believes that social responsibility should begin at the local communities. This project was designed to be implanted in all primary and secondary schools located in the area of influence of Brasbunker Group units, creating a space to conduct conversations for the construction of an environmentally responsible society.
Objective: To share information on the environment and contribute to the construction of a social and environmental responsibility identity in the schools.
“Quality of Life” Program
According to the World Health Organization, quality of life is a set of individual perceptions on life in a context of cultural and value systems including physical, intellectual, emotional, professional, spiritual and social dimensions.
Every year, the Brasbunker Group holds a Health Promotion Week during which important messages are sent out including:
- Health in its various aspects;
- Prevention and treatment of alcohol, tobacco and drug use;
- DST/AIDS;
- Vaccine campaigns;
- Distribution of informative folder on various related themes, etc.
Objective: To promote the improvement of personal and professional quality of life of employees and service providers through the development of special programs and projects.
Volunteer Activities
Projects are comprised of internal company donation campaigns to collect basic food staples and warm clothing to be distributed among members of local underprivileged communities.
Objective: To encourage our collaborators to participate in social responsibility programs.
Individual and Family Assistance Program
A family services project consisting of individual interviews, social orientation, consultations, and home and hospital visits, among other family assisted actions.
Objective: To provide support for employees and their families in their daily work and home routines through a Social Assistance agenda of programs and actions.
